The Iron Ladies is a 2000 Thai comedy film about a men's volleyball team composed mainly of gay and transgender athletes. It follows the true events of the team's journey to win the national championships in Thailand in 1996. The film was directed by Youngyooth Thongkonthun and written by Visuttchai Boonyakarnjawa and Jira Maligool. A sequel and prequel titled The Iron Ladies 2 was released in 2003, exploring how the characters from the first film came together and reunited for another volleyball tournament.
